I'm a noob when it comes to graphics, theres alot to learn. However, I have made a few sigs I would like to get rated.

I am looking for some real critiques.

Would you consider these to be decent. Or should, I give up all hope, because I am never going to get it.

Thanks. I have learned alot from this community, the tutorials have been great and, obviously the renders are incredible.

They aren't as bad as you're making them out to be really. The first one is pretty neat, as is the third. I think I know what you were trying to do with the second, but I don't think it looks very good.

All in all though, they aren't too bad. You should see some of my early work. *shudder*

The 1st signature, I'm ish on the motion blur effect. The background is great, but the text effect...ehh, could have without. I'd give that one a:

    7/10

The 2nd signature is great. That would get a:

    8/10

And the 3rd siggy, I love the render, and background. Done nicely with better effects. That gets a:

    8/10

And that's all, you're getting better.

    why?

Thanks everyone. You should have seen my first attempts at sigs... consisted of merely script-fu text. Lame.

.gif files tend to be of lower quality than say, .png files.

As for the border, I assume he thinks it sticks out too much, or just doesn't look good, though I don't know for sure.

In photoshop when you "save for web" it defaults to .gif

I guess I assumed to preserve the color spectrum I had to.

    Thanks for the heads up.

Anyone have any advice or know of any good tuts or border variations?

Some are a bit too blurry. Otherwise fine.
