Agreed And anything can be considered music so it'd be stupid to not say rap is music...I don't like it but none the less.
You guys should get that banana out of your *ss and smell the irony. It's all bullsh*t. Everything on Unnews and Uncyclopedia is bullsh*t. So don't get offended. It's like getting offended that the toothfairy didnt get you a dollar for eating your brocoli. May god have mercy on you all, idiots.
Lol..That had to have been the most idiotic reason to -rep someone. The thing that guy was doing is what this whole ----ing topic was developed upon.. Saying Rap isn't classified as music, wtf.. So you would say stuff from Talib Kweli, Common, NaS, and The Roots is crap? Theres like a 9/10 chance that you probably don't even know who they are, but yet if someone were to ask you "Why do you hate rap?" the answer would be "Because they just say words over a beat talking about money and cars". And don't lie, because some of you are simple like that. Okay, break up the two Genres: Rap= Someone getting up on a stage and talking about their way of life, how they live every day, their struggles, and how to overcome it(Now, only few rappers does this, and they deserve respect) The Crap that you all base rap on=People like G unit who talks about cars, money, women, and how they would kill someone in a second.(This is a no no, don't listen to these guys) Rock=People in a group or a single person talking about their life, how they live, the struggles, and trying to reach out to other people while playing a guitar and their lyrics, and making songs to have a good time. SOME OF the stuff that turns some people off of Rock=Someone screaming their lungs out over deafining volume, talking about how people should die and they should kill themselves.(this has a different section on it's own, but it's what some people generalize rock around) Now most of you probably listen to the type of rock that I stated earlier, which is understandable and right. Ever thought that Rap and actual rock could be the same? Except that it's on different melodies and rhythms because theres some people who don't like guitars and other rock instruments. And some others who don't like drums and electronic devices making beats. But what it comes down to is that both genres has their pluses and minuses, and shouldn't be based off of one aspect. Now, I couldn't really think of a better way to explain this, but it's being open minded. Yes, I do listen to rock sometimes, and I like rap too(gasp, thats blasphemy..bull----). Well, I'm done, I was probably rambling, but oh well.
^ No it's not. You said a stupid ass comment and deserved it. I do listen to some rap, but alot of it is stupid.
