    could do with some serious advise on text, font, wat i can improve on which areas are poor etc.

    The render is way to bright. The bg is very monotone, but the effects kind of take away from that.
    Get rid of the white splatter.

    Its not bad, work on the areas I pointed out and it would look good.

    As far as text is concerned... Tamaho (whatever its called) and arial have always been nice to me. I prefer simple fonts to complex ones.

    Colour wise i wouldnt know what to use because there is not really a general colour scheme to this sig. You have a very bright whitish pink elf, and then a clay coloured background with not much variance in it from which to take colours.

    I would personally say that you should rework the colouring of the background and tone down the brightness on the render. Maybe add a lightsource if you can get it to work.

    I REALLY like the effect you have around the render though. It works nicely and looks really cool. Good Job

    render quality looks low, interesting effects, could use coloring work.

    cheers guys, just the crit i needed. i spend a while messing with lighting layers n stuf but obv. couldnt get it to wrk, ny1 know of any good tuts?

    yeah its just a bit to contrasted imo lower that and add a color balance
