I lived mostly in the San Fernando and La Crescenta (mostly here) valleys as well as downtown LA. Mostly in the Sunland / Tujunga areas. Right between Mountain View elementary and Verdugo Hills High School (most popular school featured in Hollywood movies). http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Verdugo_Hills_High_School I was there when they were filming The Craft, Not Another Teen Movie (vacationing) and Cursed (again, vacationing).
you should get a job as a life-guard brah. $13.85/hr. You make hella bank while looking chill as ---- in the guard chair in your shades with an umbrella over you.
Yeah... I'm more of the stay inside an office with 65 degree a/c blaring the whole day. Sitting in the sun for 8 hours a day or even in the heat without the sun? No thanks.
It's ------ing ridiculous here in Arizona. I can't imagine working outside here during the summer. It must suck balls. I think I'm going to call up that company....
You won't get anywhere. We generally have a 20+ minute line to speak with us and well just as quickly hang up on you as we would try to help you.
you generally work 15 minute shifts so it isn't too bad. Then again I wouldn't know much about Arizona heat.
Yeah, its not friendly. Not to mention I'm one of those people who burns and doesn't tan. I used to push carts for Wal-Mart (few years back) and I posted pictures after a long hot day inthe summer. I had skin peeling (not like little amounts, like my face was shedding), sun blisters (2nd degree burn), and blood from how it affected my skin. The sun and I don't mix well.
That was with sunscreen. I don't want to imagine what my face would have been like without sunscreen.
