    i'm guessing cpuz is a program? but my computer wont boot, so there is no point doing it on a computer i know iks working.

    and it defo says 240 volts i didn't think it sounded right, but thats what game with m pc when i bought it

    maybe you read the wrong number, the wattage of your PSU should be close to your manufacturer label of your PSU... in any account, you probably need a more powerful one...

    Ram takes up power to use it, you know. if it freezes up, it means it cannot get enough power to a copponent. If you have alot of expansion cards, 2 cd/dvd roms, 2 hard drives, 2 ram sticks, a powerful cpu, and alot of fans, I cant see how everything would be powered with a 240watt PSU...

    ok, i see what you meen, but when take all the ram sticks out, the comp just stays dead but wen i put them in it gets stuck when its about to load xp. and i don't have 2 hds or 2 cd/dvd drives i just have one :P

    any way i'm paying a guy £20 a hour to come and fix the comp on monday :P thanks for all your help!

    Note: your computer can not run without ram.

    Hope he really fixes it... I'll bet he says the same thing as I...
