Raccoon Bite?

    My brother just got bit by a raccoon like 15 minutes ago, and Im wondering, do you think I would have to get rabie (sp) shots or no? I really dont know anything anout rabies so I wouldnt know.

    My mom is with him at the hospital, and I have to babysit my other brother, so im just hoping she doesnt come home telling me I need rabie shots.

    So, Im just asking, would I?

    He needs the shot. If you are bit by any wild animal dont take the chance. Get the rabies shot.

    Not him, he IS getting the shot, Im wondering do I also need the shot just in case?

    Its only needed if your bit as well I think. Its not an airborne virus so I wouldnt worry about needing a shot.

    if u kill the animal u can see if it has rabbies and might not have to get shots

    yea dont worry ur fin as long as u didnt get bit or excange bodily fluids like in sex ewww lol just messing but yuo should be fine

    i ahd to get a rabies shot when i got bit by a squirrel, ive almost got bit by a raccoon but i flashed it (with a flashlight) and it ran off. The shot hurts like hell too they have to put big ass needles into your stomach.

    btw, you cant catch it i dont think, unless he bit you or something.
