du u honstly think they'll never find u cuz your hiding behind some nickname hello ever heard of IP trace the can locate ur exact position by usin ur ip adress lil of topic there i guess its illegal but then those wallpapers are like spread around for comercial benefits to promote a video game so unless u take the wallpaper and slap ur name on it and send that around the world i think what were doin is harmless and they dont care
In theory that works all fine and dandy, but in practice it's not as easy. Even if it's easy to find you, they're still not gonna do anything about it because it's a huge hassle to file lawsuits, both money- and time-wise. Besides, nowadays the courts would probably laugh at the person and tell them to quit crying, since they have more important stuff to worry about. Seriously, do you think anyone's gonna care if some random kid on the internet stole a picture from some other random kid on the internet and used it to make a sig? It's illegal, yes, but it's hard as hell to enforce the rules.
im not sayin they will start a law suit im jus saying that if they want to find u they can do so within 10 secs and if u read my post i also said they were problaly not gonna start a law suit
I'm saying that they wouldn't be able to find you in the sense that they wouldn't know where to start looking. Once they know you've been ripping graphics and stuff, then yeah, they can trace your IP, but how are they gonna know that you've been ripping them in the first place? The internet is huge, and there are millions upon millions of websites out there. To look for websites where someone might have ripped your graphics is near an impossible task, unless the creator or a person who knows the creator happens to stumble upon the ripped version, aka slim chances.
