What does PR have that GR doesn't? What is missing on the forum? What do you want to see here? I guess I haven't asked this in a long time, so I decided to ask now. What do you want to see here that will make this forum more interesting to you.

    Nothing.

I think GR has tried everything at some time or another.

Honestly - nothing is missing. This forum may have become inactive the past little while (and yes, I am entitled to say this because I have been here for a while) but it's just as good if not better than PR.

I love the current concept you have introduced for cash prizes... I'm sure TONS of members will back me up on that! (So don't take this away!) :P
Once the marketplace is back up and running (where things will be back to before: Tons of activity, and a stong credit value), you shouldn't have much to worry about.

actually the problem is that the credit is TOO strong.

those with credits can buy whatever they want now. If inflation were stronger(but creds/post augmented to help the noobs) ones wealth would drop thus making it that one would need to be ACTIVE to maintain their wealth. When you have 200k creds there's little incentive to be active. INCREASING the buying power of the cred is what is killing this site moreso than anything else...

Thats pretty tough to fix. Credits have been a huge part of GR. We made the mistake on trying to tone it down, but now we are working to bring it back, but taken care of more.

I think cash prizes are a huge incentive here. I've noticed that a lot of people here will do a lot for a relatively small amount of cash.

What gets to me is the flame forum and the off topic forum. That was what steered me away from this site and the fact that i got into large art.

Maybe. What annoys me is that it's not confined to that area. Topics that belong in there sometimes are posted on other parts of the forum.
