Perhaps your Girlfriend had a best friend but It was a guy, and she admitted to you that he's like a sister to him and he's a brother to her.

    And she ask's you,

"Would you mind if I gave him my number"

And, I asked her, Would you mind if I gave my best friend (which is a girl) my number? She said, okay, I know how you feel. but, I sort of feel bad In a way?

    Advice anyone?

Well tbh, if you can both trust each other then i dont see the problem in any of you having your best friends number. (No matter what sex they are)

I know how you must have been feeling but seriously if you love each other/trust each other then there shouldnt be a problem. Ive had friends like this before and i had to talk them around it. You shouldnt feel bad as you did nothing wrong, yes maybe you got a little jealous but doesnt everyone?

Ive been with my boyfriend now for over 4.5 years and we both have other boys/girls numbers and we are fine with that.

Dont worry about it hun, it will be alright in the end.

not only what she said, but lets face it you should be happy she asked you instead of just doing it. also if she wanted to "do" something with him, there isnt really much you can do about it. you have to have trust in her. if you dont have that, well then i dont think your realationship is worth keeping. thats something you need to have for any relationship. personally i think you have nothing to worry about, but if im wrong let me know we can go over his house together and "talk some sense" into him

    Very true Cali.

You cant stay in a relationship if there is no trust in that relationship, it wont last and all you would be doing is arguing...asking where they are going/what they are doing all the time.

To make a relationship work you have to trust your partner, in doing so your relationship will run alot smoother, you will both be happy. Yes you should be proud that she asked you. Why you ask? Because there are alot of people out there that just do what they want, some people put up with it, other dont. Even though my partner and I trust each other totally, we still ask each other things, like when he wants to go for a drink, he will phone me up and ask me. (Even though he knows what the answer will be)

Good luck with whatever you do.

Well, don't feel bad. At least she needed your permission or at least she wants you to know what she is doing and not doing it on her own decision behind your back. So yeah, its basically about trusting her as well, nothing goes without trust.

    Dont listen to her...rofl.

If shes great to be with, its fine, but just be careful. Because that "brother" might switch to "other people", which would suck, and if she says "we should see other people", that "brother" became that "other people."

Just be careful and maybe keep an eye on that.

Yeah. see - women are trying to take over the world by giving men love advice! Its been going on for years! You have to resist them! Before they take over and ban red meat!

I say..whatever she does or tries to do..just do it back. Don't let them get manipulative over you, even with your emotions. Let her know how you feel so she doesn't do anything to worry or hurt you. That's if you're the worrying type, nothing wrong with it. Not everyone can trust the other 100% for many reasons they might have. That's my thought on it.
    :)

meh if they are friends let them swap numbers but steal her phone and see what messages are sent will only confirm what she is saying and if they are just friends.

I know if I had a guy who was like a brother to me I would just have the no. anyway don't need permission makes things alittle fishy to me
