I'm going to be pre-ordering Modern Warfare 2 soon online. And instead of having it shipped, I'll probably go to the store after school since my bus stop is right in front of it.

So, since the game is rated M and since I currently have no government issued ID, will I need an ID for an in-store pickup?

I've googled around for an answer and haven't found much help.

Wouldn't make sense that I would need a parent If I've paid for it. I'm guessing you didn't read the question.

If you look old enough they probably won't ID you but some people are just asses like that. If you don't look old enough and they ask for your ID you will need it though.

They've ID'd me before for Fallout 3. I have more facial hair than most of the people in my school. :/

At that same day they ID'd a grown woman.

I retract my previous statement. I got carded a few minutes ago buying World At War. The guy told me that he knew I was over 18 but needed to card me anyways. I have quite a bit of facial hair right now. It was at an EB Games, the Canadian gamestop, so I don't know. Almost bought Fallout 3 today, but then decided I finally needed a replacement for COD4, have played it too much now.

It's ridiculous considering I bought GTA:SA on release date by myself... And that was 5 years ago.

Yes, they seem to be a lot more strict these days, with movies too.
