Remake of the originally Spanish movie rec (as in recording). It's a movie all taped from a shoulder camera, so like the blair witch project and cloverfield. But I found this one much much better. Pretty good acting from Jennifer Carpenter and the rest of the cast. The original is said to be better but can't confirm that since I haven't seen that one yet This one is pretty pumped with tension and action, I sat on the edge of my seat (so to speak ) plentyful times, mostly due to the excellent pont of view of the camera. Neither [REC] or quarantine were good at all. I fell asleep during both of them the first few times I tried watching them, and the end is just a huge disappointment.
The ending was very disappointing indeed. Would have liked to see at least one survive.. And the film wasn't as scary as many claimed it to be. Plus you could hardly tell wth was going on at most times.
The beginning was pretty boring, but near the middle it got a little entertaining when all the infected people started coming.
I thought that this movie was one of the best I had seen this year. I liked it alot and I even jumped at a few parts. And its been forever since a movies made me so much as twitch. I think its worth watching. Maybe not buying it on dvd but defiently a rental when it comes out.
