I glanced through some of your threads and you are slowly getting better. I think the biggest issue with this one, atleast to me, is the girl being partially colored and partially black and white. I would have kept her color full and normal. Overall it looks flat so I would look into creating more depth and working on the lighting. High contrast seems to be a trend in your signatures and not sure where its coming from but I feel like that is holding you back a bit so you might want to keep an eye out on that while filtering and creating overlays. Keep messing around and you will get a hang of it.

Yeah its because im a recovering Photoshop user, i just need to get back into it so ill actually be getting better more quickly than a "Newbie" i see what you mean im in the middle of reading tutorials and learning new things i just need to find the right tutorials, right now im working on my Blending/Text Placement and style than ill be getting into my Lighting/Depth as you will i still have no idea how to include depth and Contrast.

Oh and that black and white on her face i kind of like it and did it on purpose... but i may make another version with her fully colored in.

Uhmm,.. the major issue is probably the composition, you have the girl right in the center, that isn't easy on the eye and not appealing, maybe use 'rule of thirds?'

Another thing is that the right side of the sig is all colors and happy and the left side is very boring and pretty bright, try to keep the overall of the sig the same.

About the girl not being in full color, i actually like that .. it almost looks like the entire sig is losing color if you look at it from the right going to the left .. i don't know if that's what you wanted to achieve, but maybe that's a nice idea

And i suggest losing the smudging on her forehead, that looks just bad :P
and try to work on your text some more, really think about placement and blending

    Keep it up!

Thank you for your input, your right i did slap her in the middle, idky i did that i usually dont i got lazy, i like that idea of losing color from left to right i wasnt trying to achieve that exactly but i was trying to make it black and white with some color.... but i like the left to right idea and for the smudge on her head i kind of had to smudge it cause it was all choppy and gross.
