OK, o I'm getting an XFX 8800GT 512MB this weekend.
My 300 something Watt PSU won't be enough.
Question is pretty obvious, what's a good and cheap PSU that has enough juice to hold this baby?

    Thank you :D

Xlink has repetitively linked an Enhance 500w which is very good value, as it's the same as the high quality Silverstone units. I'm sure he'll link it again for you. However, anything from Enermax, Corsair, Silverstone, Enhance, OCZ, PC Power and Cooling, Zalman etc, which has more than 450w, and you should be fine.

Corsair is my suggestion. I've only heard good things about them. oh, and a tip, try not to judge everything by watts. look at the amount of the 12V rail The higher, the better.

    where do you live?

also gonezorz, I can't seem to find the Enhance ENP-GH 500W anymore, guess ewiz bought one large bunch of them and they're all sold out. Shame I wanted to buy one myself.
as for what tombom has said, every PSU corsair has out is damned solid and reasonably priced. IMO corsair has better power supplies than RAM.

EDIT: nvm they're back in stock.

that'd power a single GT and a c2d or athlon x2 core CPu with some moderate overclocking and one or two harddrives... price is right too.
    I'm guessing it's the same...
