PSP is much better for me, I have play X-Box 360 with my friends, it has excellent graphics. But I am not a fan of any generation of X-Box. PSP is portable and it's really good in graphics to be in that size. PS3 looks much better than these consoles or other consoles. My recommendation is to wait until PS3 comes out. But now X-Box 360 is the best console for now. Some facts of PSP System.

-The foundation of this new platform is Universal Media Disc (UMD), which comprises of a 60mm optical disc (1.8 GB) in a cartridge, developed by the Sony Group, utilizing its latest disc technologies. Compared to the out-dated mask ROM cartridge, optical disc has huge advantages such as shorter turn around time for manufacturing, larger data capacity and lower media costs. The latest copy-protection technology will be applied to offer content developers and publishers a safe and copy-protected environment.
-"PSP" is equipped with a wide screen 480 x 272 pixel (16 by 9) TFT LCD monitor with a backlight, and powered by super chipsets utilizing the latest 90 nm semiconductor technology. For graphics, 3D rendering will be enhanced by the employment of curved surfaces (NURBS) along with conventional polygons. Video quality will also be enhanced with MPEG4, which delivers quality equivalent to DVD video at a low data rate.

"PSP" has an USB 2.0 port for further expandability and connectivity to other devices, such as "PSP," PlayStation 2 and many other systems, along with a Memory Stick™ slot for network applications and data transportability in a wireless environment. Pretty sweet.... :)

I dont see the point in arguing about two diffrent items that coulnt be more diffrent. If money isnt an issue, i'dgo for the xbox 360 , its only another £40 and i think is much better. You get all the advantages of the psp apart from it being portable and more.

I bought a PSP for a few months ago, and only used it for like.. 1 month or something. You get very bored with it, and don´t use it very often. It is kinda like only made for trips and such...

I am now selling my PSP to try and get the Xbox 360, because of boredom. And the Xbox 360 just rocks, I tell you. With Perfect Dark Zero...

    So, 360 in my oppion.

abit unfair to compare the psp to a 360, psps are superb, considering there graphics and that they are portable. but if you want to pay the extra, the 360 is better, but this is because it is not a portable console.

What also sucks with the PSP, are the UMD´s. They make a lot of noise in the PSP, and it sucks that you have to buy speciel-made movies and games for the PSP, and not being able to use a CD. I know the PSP would had to be a bit bigger for CD´s, but the UMD´s are also just expensive for one game with the graphic sucking so bad.

Most of the buttons on the PSP also go a little off-track, and even dead pixels show up, just like that. You get a lot of dirt under the screen. It is a total nightmare... XBOX 360 IS MY PRIMARY TARGET!!!

I never have any noise on my psp either...

Anyway, why compare 2 such different things? PS3 vs XBox 360, okay. But a handheld vs a console? Why don't you compare your microwave to your oven?

well you see, with the microwave you an get faster cooking, although what you can cook is more limited.
less expensive too, but i think i'd go with the oven.

The PSP does make some noise, but that´s only sometimes when you´re watching a movie or something... You don´t really notice it, if you´re playing a game or watching a movie. It was even officially said in many magazines that the PSP does make some noise, when playing a UMD, which it does.
