im wondering if this is consiedered ripping...or layer ripping If i buy, or get a PSD for free...and i see it has c4d's...is it ok to take them out and use it to our advantage?
Yeah that would be ripping. If you take anything at all from the .psd and drag it onto your tag its ripping. I think its alright with stocks though.
taking anything off a psd and putting into your own work is ripping, be it stocks or not. get permission to take the layers.
I thought it was only if the C4D layers were personal that it was considered ripping If the C4D layers have been in a pack given to the public it shouldn't matter should it?
it should because some people can filter, smudge and do other things to a c4d to get their own personal effect. alot of things in a tag can depend on a c4d
If i see a c4d in a signature or LP i always ask the guy who made it if it is alright to use that layer, why don't you ask the person you got it from
imo its not ripping cuz prolly that guy got those C4D renders from a pack aswell... unless you know he mades his own.. then its ripping
