    why does my playstation store look like this

    theres no side bar to the right on my ps3

    The top picture is from a standard definition TV.

    The bottom pic is from an HD TV.

    So your PS3 isn't the problem, it's your TV bro. ;)

    I sometimes don't see the sidebar until I go into one of the tabs... Other times its there. (I do have an HDTV) =/

    I always see the side column when I go to the store so I'm not sure what's up with that.

    I'm running the PS3 on a 50" Sony SXRD /w HDMI in 1080p.

    sdtv downscaling does not support the side bar but don't fret it's pretty much useless at most times lol
