Ps3 Problem

I used to play this game black hawk down on my ps2 then that broke so i tryed it on my new ps3 it worked ok for a while but now for no reason i just get disconected every like 20 minutes and i have to resign in.
its not the disk because i have 2 copies and it happens on both. I dont thik its the internet because on my computer works fine.
could it be you just cant play ps2 games on a ps3 online without problems?

 

I play madden and socom online on my ps3 without a problem..

I think you have to go to the PsStore>Games>Add-on Game Content>Download PS2 System Data.. I have to do that to play madden but socom works by itself

 

that sounds like a very odd problem, maybe itll go away with time

 

I play Socom 2,3 and C/A on my PS3 and no problems so I could just be the server or your internet conection.

Have you tried rebooting your modem and router?
