FF 13 is possibly being delayed until 2009.. and who knows when MGS4 is coming out(delayed again so it wont be this christmas, 2nd quarter of 2008 the earliest) So.. I'd say get a 360, and wait until PS3 comes out with better games if you really want it. BUT, if you have the money for both, then go for both.
yeah id prefer the xbox 360 over the ps3... At the moment ps3 is still a bit too expensive, my mates got one and it really isn't all that brilliant. Sony can go back to making cd players etc. Their consoles suck these days.
Ignorant fool. I honestly ------ing hate people who buy one of the consoles and turn into complete ignorant fanboys. I bought my ps3 and I love it to death but I don't go around saying 360 sucks because it doesn't.
Well the PS3 has free online gaming. Also many of the games are or will be ported to the PC from the 360. And the really good games are already on both consoles. Halo 3 is good but once you play Call of Duty 4 I dont think there is even a debate as to which is better. I bought a 360 over a PS3 because I still havent built my new computer yet, but I would personally go with the PS3 in your case.
Halo might be on PC, but multiplatform games that have PC versions are usually best on console. 360, but PS3 if you need the graphics. Or both would work.
Well i don't have a PS3 or a Xbox360, but i have friends who have =) Personally i'd go for the Xbox360. It's cheaper and way more appealing to me. But good luck on getting both ^_^
Xbox has more of a stable online play, that's why it costs cash. I prefer 360 but they are both very good without a doubt.
Why would you not need it? It gives game dev's more space on the disc to develop the games and add uncompressed video and audio in 7.1. You can use it with your HD TV and watch movies in 1080p and again uncompressed (lossless) audio. It's also the leading HD format right now over HD DVD so I'm not sure why you wouldn't want it. I have both systems and they both have their up sides, it's really a matter of preference as of right now. I'm sure the PS3 will be better with time but it still needs some major updates in the gaming catagory. (Games, PSN updates, in game XMB, etc.)
