Ps3 May Cost $900 Or Twice As Much As The Xbox 360

Heh, that doesn´t really sound real to me, but maybe it is true. No one would buy a console that expensive... Even though, the Blu-Ray Disc will be a new format, it still isn´t very fair to set the price doubled the Xbox 360´s price. That´s so stupid!

It won´t even sell that much...

 

If they gonna price it that high, no1 is gonna buy it.

 

you lose money on the console, make up for it in gamesales

 

woo that tight what happened i own a xbox but i was keepng my mind open to buy a ps3 but its xbox 360 for me that look to be the most well rounded console to me so far also might as well build a very expensive pc

It will cost $900 to make, but it includes a $100 optional hard drive. So thats $795(Read link) if you don't mind wait with a hard drive. Sony have with all their earlier consoles had a loss too, so it will drop around $100. As it says on GameSpot, it will probably cost $699(Without Hard Drive). ^_^

Well to make the PS3 it costs more than $1000 on just 1 so there is a loss BUT every company faces losses as said in the first year but they gradually decrease the price so people buy them

As long as there are no major problems - Its all good Every console is like that so everyone waits

People will buy it - No doubt - You seen the specs and games on the PS3 compared to XBO60 they are amazing -

No way, they have to compete price wise or they'll lose ALOT of money.

 

I knew that it'd be about that price so i decided to get an xbox 360
and who ever said that before the 360 was released that it would cost alot more than the release price was wrong. Thats aroud the price that they had estimated it for.

I saw that a couple of days ago - big dissapointment, I'm probobly not gonna get one any more, i mean 900$ BEFORE games and extras DAMN!
