The price of the PS3 is still unknown. You're saying €600-€750? How do you know? Ken Kutaragi himself said that the PS3 isn't going to be cheap. That's it. No price, nothing specific. All prices mentioned are speculations. Cheap prices speculated by sony fanboys, high prices by M$ fanboys. And M$ wanted Halo 3 to be released at PS3 launchday. NO ONE (really, no one) who goed buying a ps3 at the release date will say: "hey, it's halo 3, let's buy a 360 instead.". NO ONE!!!! Bungie realised that M$'s idea was stupid, so they just keep working on it untill it's finished. Why? They wouldn't kill ps3, they would kill halo 3.

They didn't. All they said was that it's going to be expensive. No exact price was given. Why? They don't have one themself. Amazon? Wow, they're reliable allright if they give 2010 as a releasedate for FF Advent children, what do you think the odds are they give a correct price on a ps3? Indeed, they make profit. Not on their consoles though, but on their games. Sony, M$ and Nintendo do it.
that won't happen if that happen it will go down in gaming history for good as one of the boldest move ever not to mention the fighting for spaces in lines as i said before bungie would take there time and make a good game not rush ahead like microsoft
Aww, and Yay! Sucks that Halo3 doesn't come out till November like the other Halos, but still it might come at the Summer for 2007 that's near my b-day! And I can get that next year for the birthday and a 360! So then I can get me a New PC for this year! Yay and Aww...
I already knew of this. Bungie says that they're gonna release Halo 3 with the HALO Movie release. That would be somewhere in 2007. That's the plan so far...
didn't think it would happen, bungie and microsoft know that not even halo 3 can strike a dent into the sales of sony's ps3 when it is released. i think it's a good decision on their part, the best product that bungie/microsoft can develp is a 100x better than a product rushed in order to compete with a console's release.
Would it actually make a difference when they were released the same day ? It would maybe be a disadvantage for Halo 3.. because there is absolutely no one that is going to a gamestore on the Ps3 release day to just buy a game... They cant expect people that come for a Ps3 to walk back out of the store with a 360 and a copy of Halo...
