How can you say that? How do you know that will happen? Chances are that the PS3 will make more money, since a lot of people want it and it's gunna cost a lot, so you can't say Halo 3 is going to beat it. Ever. And to anyone else who wants to say this crap, don't even bother.

for those that dislike halo, u cant argue with facts, the halo franchise is the biggest out of any of the games, and halo 2 sold the most amount of copies ever for a game. more units sold then people going to see spiderman in the cinema (the biggest box office hit) *this is frm memory so facts may not be all right, i cba to check it all up but im sure a google check will support what i said. well anyways, halo roxx0r ma s0xxor and i luv it loads.
No it doesnt end like that..... Cortana is still stuck at that Covonent thingy there....and suddednly the "Moster" or "Thing" comes out and says "I will quesion and u will answear" or some like that then it stops...... Always watch the credits...after that some might come.
no this has been going on for a looong time back when halo 2 came out they even said that they were going to release it the same day
that "monster" is gravemind and he is supposedly the source or "leader" of the flood in a way, but has been around for a long time or somthing
Time to bring out the facts. A lot of people don't want the 360 due to the problems so the sales for Halo 3 may not reach expectations. Plus Sony is a huge company that has more fans then Microsoft (I'm sure of that since Microsoft is cheap and doesn't live up to what they say.) Not to mention the fact that PS2, when released, was bought so much that it was hard to get unless reserved for a couple months. Stores had so many Halo 2 copies that didn't sell. And, if PS3 makes even half of the sales that Halo 2 made, it will score about 4 to 6 times as much money, because Halo 2 was $60 (where I am,) and PS3 is gunna be in the $600 range U.S. You can't compare game sales to console sales. Don't bother.
I'm sure it will not be $600 .. that's the whole point, they will try to compete with microsoft by releasing an equaly expensive console with more technology, all those parts can become a hell of a lot cheaper on that 1 year between 360 and Ps3 release. And by releasing blu-ray players seperately with a high release price, they are hoping to get people buying the console. They did the same with Ps2. But for some reason people never seem to listen when I say that, and although consoles have always launched for the same price, and are now cheaper then ever before... Ps3 must be expensive.
Chill people the aint trying to undermine ps3 with the release of a game! They were just saying that its poissiable that they will release it on the same day. As for the people that say its crap play the game. For crying out loud, how do you know ? Did Sony have some kind of presstalk I don't know of in wich they said "Our console will be €600-750" Why would it be that expensive all of a sudden ? And don't say blu-ray... because they did the same thing with DVD capabilities on the Ps2.
