i love sony but yet again they are messing around the f*ckin bs with hdd again they will sell it seperate -why becuase they have become greedy. they WILL have some shortages i can almost promise it.and of coarse they won't release details because they have head up butt syndrome.and also i was watching cnn this morning and they had a story on ps3 saying it won't be here in time for the holidays - like in thanksgiving but should be christmas. IF .. IF they keep up with things like this xbox may beat them sales wise this time around. i still have a 100$ paper weight from them not in use meaning ps2 hdd-what a waste that was. i hope they get in gear though
not exactly a delay...just a delay for japan really...and uk should be happy cause they would have gotten it in lie spring 2007 if there was no world wide launch...the spring release was rly only for japan so we in north america would have had 2 wait till sometime around november anyways so this is actually good news..
I am so sick of Sony´s stupid delays and issues. They promise you so much, but end up giving you nothing at all. I got sick of waiting for it, and got Xbox 360. I probaly won´t buy the PS3, since the price will be huge. Around the double for a Xbox 360. And will probaly be a waste of money, because if you really wanna experience the true quality of the PS3 games and movies, you need a Blu-Ray television, which will also cost the boom. Far more expensive than a HD-tv. That is why it is a waste...
Im glad it's for then, it give sony time to create a good system and it also give me time to save up.
What is my reaction about this delay? I am so f***in' pissed because I was looking forward to get this PS3 this season. My only hope for now is to get an Xbox 360.
I have always since the first rumours been expecting somewhere first quarter of 2007. Everything has basicly confirmed this untill a few days ago. I'm actually quite happy with this worldwide release. Because if it wasn't going to be worldwide, and they would release it this month in japan. I'm sure we weren't going to get it this year. Uwah ? lol... Never heard of anything like a blu-Ray tv. HD-tv is what you need the enjoy the full quality. Same with xbox360 right ? So why is it a waste of money if the Ps3 quality is even better ? A television is something you have to watch for about 15-20 years. If you buy some $500 crap tv you basicly have to watch crap for 15-20 years. If you ever buy a new one, you might as wel go for a nice $2500-$3000 tv. Wich will let you experience trice the quality of a normal tv. Hook your console to your pc monitor for all I care. But it certainly isn't waste in any way and you don't need to be rich if you want to enjoy it. I don't know how things are going over there, but here where I live, HD-tv is basicly all they're selling because normal ones are going down. Just like cd > tape.

Wait wait wait, doesn´t anyone know of the Blu-Ray format that is coming out? There are also gonna be made Blu-Ray televisions, with a higher output or whatever you call it, than the HD-tv´s. Why don´t anyone know of this? You can´t use the PS3 on a HD-tv. Only on a regular one or Blu-Ray one. HD is Microsoft area. Sony made their own, by making the Blu-Ray format. Wonder why anyone doesn´t know about this... It is the future!
im not really surpise with the change in date because us (as in europe) was post to have socom last summer and we still aint got it, sony suck at release dates, but i will still get it
I pretty much already knew it was going to come in fall. I figured they wouldnt be able to get it out in the spring. Oh well, I just hope the HDD doesnt cost too much, since the PS3 wont come cheap eiher..
I really don't mind. I am just so anxious to get Kingdom Hearts II right now. Not really thinking about anything else gaming wise.
