The 80GB does not come with MGS4. That's the MGS4 Package, and I wouldn't suggest getting that one...unless you can acually find it.

With the 40GB you won't run out of memory unless you plan on getting every DEMO on the Playstation Network, which i'm pretty sure he said he wasn't. I have the 40GB, and i'm still fine.

"as much as i love to argue i don`t anyways i would go with the 80gb"
I don't think you know enough about the PS3 to argue XD

Nononono, the new 80GB that are $399. Sony announced at E3 that they will be selling an 80GB version of the 40GB. Which will not have PS2 Backwards compadability

    I have a 40GB.

Since I never had a PS2, and there aren't any games on it that particularly interest me, I didn't need backward compatibility.

And as you can change the hard drive in all of them, it doesn't really make any difference to me. I might by a 320GB hard drive :)

But if you do want 80GB w/ backwards compatibility, you'll have to be quick, I think Sony is replacing them with the 80GB version of te 40GB.

I'm pretty sure they will still have a 80GB with Backwards Compadability. But it will cost more.

I doubt it to be honest I mean they are trying to slowly eliminate the PS2 and focus on just the ps3
