LOL eating food that has protein in it like you said you eat 40grams of protein lol doesnt matter if you eat 100g of it from food you wont gain any if you drink the powder stuff of whey lol. Whey has 29grams of protein and it works faster then just eating it and say o i eat steak everysday thats my protein

    40g a day is nothing

you probaly eat mroe than that anyay, tons of things have protein, the breadin a sandwhich typically has between 2-8g alone depending on which variety/brand.

as I've said before though diet + vitamins > supps

also, dementia, f their muscles were so much water, why would they dehydrate before a competition?

as for whey, it's good stuff, far better than soy which raises esrtogen levels

i never said they all were, but rarely are steroids taken to increase strength rather than mass. Most steroids are an attempt to build muscles without building weight.

As far as professional weight lifting, i unno, who cares lol. But I know alot of people who take steroids arent as strong as they look. Their bodies are often weak and not actual muscle (aka the term water weight).

i have pretty good endurance, but i'm not the strongest person at my school.

right now i weigh around 133 (lets just round it to 135 :s) and my max bench is 180 (haven't tested max since beggining of semester 2, which is 2-3 months ago). i don't really care about my benches or anything like that, since i'm not going to compete. i just want to have a sexy body so i can show off in the summer on the beach :) plus its nice to have another hobby such as bodybuilding. i want to get big by grade 12, though. i'm about 5'8 or 5'9 right now and i want to get to atleast 180 pounds with 10-12% body fat by then.

rave and I are pretty much the same heigh/weight/strength wise or so it seems, I'm a little heavier though(5lbs) but I have like huge lats for my weight. bench is about the same, but I don't really bench,I DB press. my max DB press is 140, max flat bench is about 170 likely due to having few supporting muscles built up and somewhat lagging triceps(I have benched 3 times thus far, yet DB pressed a bit so yeah), not to mention the fact that I bench elbows in which lowers the stress on the rotator cuff but lowers your capacity.

I'm up from about 100lbs this time last year.

and yes, I know I eed to start doing presses at a decline.

Speaking of milk, are dairy products good for working out? That's where I get most of my protein from (8g per carton of milk at school and 8g per stick of string cheese).

milk is pretty good. What they hell do you thgink whey is made from?

also it's sugars digest relatively slowly so a glass of milk, some non-fat cottage cheese, and a peanut butter sandwich make an excellent bedtime snack.

wow, I'm bout 5'8" and I'm 150lbs. I put on like, 5 pounds in the past 5 months. 135 seems kinda low to me o,o ...

atm, I have only done 100 benching max. I do 75 for now to start which is easy but I'm limited with weights atm. I dont think I can do 3 sets at 100 anyway.

Decline press is way easyer then bench press so do them lol

I by the way I weight 140 and my mas bench press 215pounds I only take thermo power rushe and metohydragening creatine does your body wonders in one month you can increase bench by 35 pounds if you do tricept exrices the day before and you could got some money for a bowflex or ones that look like them from Dicks Sporting goods I have a tect rod II it pushes your endurance to the max if you do alot of them grrr 5minutes later you fell no pain then like 10 seconds later your tricepts hurt lol
