Problems!

Saw this post by Axiom and Decided to make this thread. I've heard people saying about Gr going downhill, I don't really see a problem but maybe you guys do. So if you do, just post it in here along with a suggestion on how to improve it to make the community better. Maybe the staff might look in the thread and implement it. I know there is a Feedback and Suggestions forum, but that is for problems like an error with the site( I think if it is how I read the description). If this thread isn't needed or is considered spam, fell free to close it, - Rep me or whatever you may wish to do.

You both can shut up. That's part of the problem with this site, you guys are too damn quick to jump down someone's throat if you don't like what they're saying.

I'm moving this to the Problems & Suggestions forum, because that's pretty much what this is just condensed into one thread. I don't mind it being open, just keep the remarks mature and the suggestions reasonable.

 

Im not sure about gr goin downhill and i havent heard anybody saying it is so im not sure about this topic bud.

 

its more compared to the older GR, youre still a fairly new member at 97,000, and i havnt seen everything, im only at like 70,000, but GR has changed from when i was first here, and its changed even more since the first 30,000 or so members.

 

Yeah its going downhill.
Credits are losing value, becase so many people are greedy and save them.

It's not the problem people dont spen enough credits, the problem is that people are to obsessed with rankings. The tags are soemtimes really ugly but just becase they were rated Pr0o sometime makes them sell the tag for 1-3K, that's just insane.

many tags of moderates loooks better then Pr0o tags but the moderate tags just don't sell.

 

I think the fact that people are more concerned with selling things than creating an atmosphere that promotes learning is part of the issue. Staff cannot build a community, to which a certain extent GR lacks. With people being focused solely on making credits, people tend not to assist others. I think it all comes down to the maturity and greed of the current members and their inability to create a an atmosphere which supports positive growth.

Note: Just late night ramblings, I'm not going to guarantee any of the above will make sense.

 

ya,i agree with the creds losing value.I dont really post here,but i do check in every now and then.Also i agree with the moderator and what he said,people need to stop being so immature about everything think about what they are saying first

 

Also, it doesn't help that we have people relatively new to PhotoShop setting bins near 1k on their tags. They see all of the more well-known artists doing so, so they think theirs should sell for that too. Then, they get discouraged when their work doesn't sell, but they don't realize it is extremely overpriced. Personally, I only buy unique+very advanced tags, and I think that is what most others do also. This means that about 75% of the auctions won't get any bids, because people just whore things or are new.

 

oh sea's tags sell for alot, but the most styles are also whored. so they only get sold for the name, just like clothes, when you going to buy something you will mostly look at the brends, even if it is 100$ more expensive and looks basicly the same.

so that needs to stop, only because 4 people on NSL said the they were Pr0o they get an ego and think they are the best etc..,, THIS IS NOT FOR ALL OF THEM, BUT MANY DO!
