Alright i've been trying to install this newer version of XP and so i reformat my computer deleting my Cartion making sure thats clean. And when i enter my disk to install it goes through the setup process and starts installing the components, devices, etc... They goes smoothly and works fine then the computer restarts and it get to the XP logo screen and looks like its loading but then it freezes. This is where i'm stuck at. The last advice i got was to pull my video card out at that point to try and bypass it from freezing but that didn't work at all. Ideas? Thanks
verify the burn process and ensure its downloaded correctly (Dont use download accelerators or managers that use multiple connections)
The problem is its working fine for everyone else just not for me and i know its because sadly my computer is a dell and it hates me. I normally use Alchol 120 when burning things and i set it at a slow burn rate so i know everything comes out alright. Even with the ACTUAL cd it does the same thing on me.
After your computer restarts from copying the files from the CD to the HD, remove the CD. The boot screen should still continue without the CD inside and it'll just ask you to reinsert it when you install windows.
