So yeah, Put in my brand new Radeon X850 XT Saphire addition, and what happened is, I got the card in good, put in my install disk that came with it, the start screen comes up, I hit install, it installs somthing, and then it says Windows has finished copying files to the computer, restart now or later. So i restarted it, and when it came back on, there still was no gfx card installed on my system. Im very confused and dont know how to get this working, any help please? ~Dooks
could you eleborate? do you see any video input? can you see anything on your screen at all? did you install the drivers? are you sure it is in fully? ios your BIOS configured properly?
firstly. take the card out. boot into windows. download driver cleaner and remove display drivers for old card. Then install the drivers from the website - https://support.ati.com/ics/support/default...ge&folderID=293 install them. turn pc off, put new card in. reboot.
i had to do that when i installed my ati 9600xt. but now i think the card is a piece of crap. always uninstall previous video drivers before installing a new 1.
