Problem With Monitor Or Gfx Card

    Hi

    When i turn on my computor my screen is fine for about 3-4 minutes. Then when i log in and such my monitor flashes on and off every 1/2 second. I logged off ato see if it was my account but no it still happened! I was wondering if it is my GFX card or monitor! I need some help before i go and buy the monitor or GFX card

    please help

    im guessing its something to do with your PSU(power supply unit), it could be faulty, or shorting out, causing it to stop giving power to your monitor after a few minutes.

    You could try swapping it out with a friends just for a test, if you dont know how to do this, take it to your local computer store.

    i HAD the same prob...Try wiggling the power supply on the back of the monitor...Thats what mine was..

    If u have to much stuff plugged in, it might be the problem. like, if u have a printer, scanner, speakers, subwoofer, ect. all plugged into ur powersupply, u could be using more than u have. If so, I suggest buying a larger power supply.
