Problem With Guild Wars

why hello there,

I've been having problems recently with guild wars. Ever since I put my new graphics card in. I previously had a FX 5200 then my dad gave me his radeon 9800 ---. Now when I had the FX 5200 i had no problems but then i put the radeon in and I get problems (Guild Wars Freezes) It doesn't do this with any other game so I guess it comes down to compatibility issues with the game and the card. I have tried reinstalling Guild Wars, Reinstalling Windows, Different Card Drivers... And im out of ideas so I was just wondering if anyone has had the same problem or knows of a solution I have looked around and noone really has had the same problem.

So yeah any suggestions or knowledge of how to fix the problem would be greatly appreciated,

Did you try emailing Guild Wars Support and ask for their help. Cause they are really efficient.

 

huh not sure why with a better gfx card you would get issues? Maybe in the GW options you can try messing with the resolution and settings. Otherwise I am not really sure.

 

This has happened to me too, I just did the 3 R's... Reboot, Reinstall, Reformat

 

Put everything to the least possible ratings.

If all else fails I got a decent gfx card at walmart for like 60$.

 

Get WoW problem solved... Im kidding and your sure you didnt install two diffrent video card drivers cause that can crew with your computer big time

 

Is GW compatible with that gfx card?
