Problem Smartftp

    Hi, I just got my own site and if I want to upload things with SmartFTP it only goes with a speed of 1/1.5 kb a second :huh: And the server where my site is hosted should be able to handle 12 MB a sec :unsure:

    Can anyone help me with this? :)

    What connection do you have? DSL, Cable modem, satellite?

    Well, if you are on dial-up, that's a very good speed...

    but if that is not the problem, try getting FTPSurfer from download.com It is free, easy, and very fast.

    i use smart ftp and i get around 50kbs when im uploading to my friends site... did you change the options around so you have unlim upload/ download speed....

    I have cable and I changed nothing from the settings. I'll try it with an other ftp client.
