I am only going to say this, with all that bush has had to deal with, with all of the events that have occured since his election, does anyone honestly think that Kerry, or anyone else for that matter could have done a better job?

put yourself in his position, what the hell would you do?

I say, send them all and get the job done... sure there will be more casualties, but ultimately that would save lives...things have to get worse before they can get better....

    QUOTING JEAN-JACQUES ROUSSEAU

    - A civil society is voluntarily formed by its citizens and wholly governed by reference to the general will.
    - Governments exist to protect the equality and character of its citizens.
    - "Man was born free; and everywhere he is in chains."
    - "Governments which violate the social contract lose legitimacy and MUST be replaced."
    ________________END QUOTE_________________________________
the iraqi government is in face violating the social contract, it is no longer a legitimate form of govt. and MUST BE REPLACED. In case you didn't know, Jean-Jacques Rousseau was a very prominent leader of the Enlightenment era, and along with Locke, these ideas are the basis of our government, and should be applied anywhere a human being lives; simply because it is sensitive to the need and RIGHTS of every human being on this planet....Therefore, we did in fact have the right to enter in the first place, not to mention, we were d*** pissed for the suffering that has been caused by "these people"

...even though the US has more troops there than any other contigent. You're not doing all the work. The Dutch, Germans, and French are there too, as is the US and a host of other NATO nations. The US has been there since the start of the Afghan war. You and the rest of NATO came later. You're not the only ones "cleaning up the 'mess'." Personally, I think Afghanistan is doing quite well for a nation that just got invaded and had its government toppled five and a half years ago.

Wrong. If you paid attention to the mid-terms, the Democrats took control of both the House and Senate.

So he went because his family could pay tuition. Does it matter that he still had to have the GPA to get accepted (the academic part). Thousands upon thousands of students do that. He's not the only one and if you're saying that's the only reason, what about the thousands more that went to those types of universities on their family's money?

Another Republican will do and vote for what he or she thinks is right. Same with the Democrats and Independants and anybody else that is elected or voting. Why single out Republicans? I personally disagree with certain things both parties have done, which is why two out of five of the people I voted for in November were Democrats.

So the fact that Republicans have been attempting to fix the Iraq situation since they put troops on the ground in 2003 doesn't mean anything? The Republicans ran on the "keep America safe" line, the thing that they happen to believe they're doing. Democrats have their own views and as such ran for office along those views. Again, why single out Republicans? Each party does what you're accusing Republicans of.

Honestly, I think he is setting up an exit strategy if you analyze it, he makes it look like they agree to do something, we help them. If they dont get it done by nov they loses the support of the American people, we pull out, if they do get it done by nov, we pull out. This way either way when the election comes they can say we tryed, and either failed or didnt, and pulled out they had their chance.

in order to graduate from a school you have to pass the classes there

the dumbest thing Bush did was run for president, it's a lot of work and he doesn't need the 'money' not to mention all the people who end up hating you for doing something which they were supportive of just before you doing.

Remember, this isn't Bush's war, it's congresses war, if you want some one to blame, blame your state congressmen.

If there are more Republicans than Democrats, why is the House Majority Leader a Democrat? As of January 2007, the Democrats have the majority in Congress. The fact that a senator is in the hospital right now is the only thing keeping the Democrats from having the majority in the Senate. On paper, the Democrats control both houses.

My thoughts... I think it's stupid, because with the amount of dead soldiers, we'll be back to the same number we were before.. Then what send 20,000 more? I think it's meaningless. The more troops you send in, the more guerilla's come out. It's like a game of whack a mole, but except they use bombs, and Americans don't see them. Those scumbags are too afraid to fight front to front. I say we pull out troops out of a certain city and level it with a minor explosive well enough to just take out the city. Too bad if we kill civilians, that's what those -------s get for ----ing with us. Though it would never happen, that could be a good theory to use, because I'm sure our disgusting ZOG gov. was thinking about it quite a lot.

Other ways are pretty simple as well, just mash and clear the area. Concentrate the troops in a centralized area, and mash and sweep, it's simple. Or march in Iraq like Stormtroopers. Now that's an idea.

Well for me its kinda hard to have much of an opinion both my father and I are in the US ARMY ...and both on Active Duty Status.

He is about to deploy in the summer and he'll be there for a year. But my thoughts on it is that if we leave the country in the state its in it would cause nothing, but a bigger out break of the Civil War thats already going on between the people of Iraq. There is a lot of religious separation in Iraq and US Troops are trying to stay away form that at all possibility.

We get sit-reps on Iraq on a weekly bases, but every now and then we get a history review on why we are in Iraq and what the out comes could be if we were to just pick up and leave the country with out doing anymore.

Example: In Germany after World War 1 America pulled out troops and left the country to fend for its self which caused the rise of Hitler and the out spring of World War 2.... We on the flip side don't want to pull out of Iraq, since there is so many different Terrorism groups working there. If America would pull out Iraq would be flushed with Terrorist who use the country as a training area.

Personally what i think on the case of more troops...its another step to get us out of the country and further the training of the Iraqi Police and Troops.

But another big matter in this is that the Democratic party is high in winning the election...so all this Troop talk might have a big change in talk after elections.

The rise of Hitler wasn't because of America pulling out there troops.. Trust me, there are other more important reasons. If you ever read up on history of WWI and WWII, then you'll understand the underlying message behind Hitler's rise and downfall. But anyways this isn't about Hitler, sorry for going off topic.

Ok i didn't make my point fully if your saying that.

When America pulled at we didn't try and establish a government in place to take over when we left...I'm saying becuase of the depression we left them in with no government lead to Hitler.
