I'm aware of that. Its a brownish outline (coloration cut, that was part of the original picture, which I left intentionally, as an outline/border support for the image...), however, it doesn't show up on a darkened background, and there is no halo. Thanks.

Besides, depending on the coloration, and it matching a render, outlining, (if it compliments a render) is a good thing. HALO, and Saturation Halo and choppiness is a bad thing. I see allot of Saturation Halo and normal Halo on allot of renders in the ROTW, and also in the premium and normal render gallery here.

I also believe that true rendering involves redrawing parts that are missing to help gain a full image of an entirety of a themed picture.

Thanks again, K. Later on dude.

Another One Of My Favorites: SHI

Who would win in a battle? Shi or Electra? Now that sounds like an anime movie in the making. They probably already did it in the comics...huh?

Level. You gotta explain to me whut you mean by Halo?

Coz right now it just doesn't make sense man...

There can't really be anything anything outside of my anchor points because thay're designed to erase all that?

Saturated? I don't think anyone saturates they're renders...

Personally it looks like an outlining to me as the background was orange and so it the outlining.

    >_<

What Is Halo In Photoshop Defintion by LevelOne?
Halo is commonly known as the "white outlines" that usually appears from the common use of the magic wand. That appearance shows up when a render is not properly cleaned. Halo more times appears as grouped pixels or pixelation, and although seen allot on PNG renders, and .GIF images.

    Saturation Usages By Renderers Used...
I do believe some artists increase the saturation on some of their images. I still see saturation distortion and haloage on some of the announced "premium" renders.

    In Conclusion....
As far as my Robotech image render, like I said before, the brown outline was left intentionally for my sake. If you see it as not being of premium level, that is fine by me. This is, of course, an older render that I did back in 2003. A time when I didn't use the polygonal tool much. Just some feathering and the normal lasso tool. I didn't start using the Polygonal Tool until the end of 2003, and 2004 up until now.

Thanks for the critiques and comments. Appreciated K. ;)

A lot of renders have a halo even though they were cut well.
You get a halo when you put an overlay or a faded blur on it.
There are ways to put an overlay or a faded blur on it without getting a halo thogh.

Some people put the halo there to hide the edges of the render too.

Yep, I'm aware of that too. I don't place blur or overlays on my images. They are usually the original image. Unless I draw something extra on them, which still doesn't show a halo.

FireFox and Internet Explorer also have different ways of handling an image in PNG form, also I've noticed.

Still interesting at the PNGs and renders loaded in this thread alone, eh?

Well, I always view my render with a black and white background to look for white outlines :|

And they're not always a bad thing, it makes it easier for members to blend the image as they'll lose less of the render ^_^
