do you guys think having a high post count is important? i do think it is but alot of people disagree with me, and i was just wondering what you guys thought. i think it does count, because if you have a higher post count, more people could trust you and you dont get called a n00b or anything. what i am saying may sound wrong, but i think higher post counts do affect you, and people who talk to you online. your thoughts?

It does affect the way you talk to people, but it doesn't infect in any way if you're a noob or not. Someone with 8000 posts here can be a gfx noob, while 1 with only 2 posts is nearly a pro.

It's better to have more posts perhaps because then people would of known you for longer and you'll get along with them well. :P But there's no point if you're going to get loads of -reps (not talking about anyone specific) just in general

yea i agree, i mean a n00b like someone who double posts, someone who talks in 1337, not someone who is Graphics n00b. if you spoke in 1337 all the time, you dont normally last until up to like 1000 posts or something, i dont know why, i just havn't seen anyone like that. if you guys know what i mean...

i can agree to GP i have almost 1800 posts, i've been here for 9 or so months and i have earned myself 50+ rep points, i have had over 3000creds but got ride of them all. so in all fairness i have done good... but back on track i do belive the higher your post count is matched with your join date makes people... 'look up' to you, they think your a vetarren of Gamerenders.com and therefor you earn yourself a slighty part more respect.

i think post count IS important if you have the reps to go along with it, but all this talk of respect is stupid, not critisising anyone but people with like 1000-2000 post count with like basically no rep have just been going through renders/ your stuff and saying "nice work , GJ" or something and have done little to earn respect. why should anyone respect some1 with no life whos just posting all day? people who deserve respect are people who yes, post to help the community but also involve themselves with shops/ giveaways/rendering stuff like that

higher post count i think is imporetant, you can see if a member is active alot or not at all and if you can trust them. but there are ppl who spam to get there post count up and that aint cool
