Hmm... the whole template seems a little blank. I can't say that I'm a fan of the navigation, at least, not the outer glow on it. :/ I think it needs more than "Welcome to my portfolio" in the header.

I think once you fill it up some more, it'll look better. Maybe change the background color, too, it just doesn't seem to fit well with the rest of the colors.

Don't give up though, it's only your second! You'll get much better, just keep workin on it! :)

I'm not totally sure what V1 and V2 are so I'll ignore them lol :P V1 has definite potential though. Its got a good layout and everything you need is there, so practically its nice. I would change one or two things though. The Header is too bright, it kinda blurs on the eyes. You could darken the colour slightly or just give it a few px black outline which personally I think woud look quite nice with the yellow. The nav line looks good :) although I would ditch the outer glow like Snowy said and maybe tweak the green a little - although without the glow it'll probably look fine.

Not too sure what the eye soother is but well, looks fine anyway lol. B/g colour seems ok, maybe a bit murky for the clean look your going for but could work well with the other changes I suggested. Up to you. All in all for a second its not bad, quite a bit better than my second lol, so like Snowy said keep going ^_^
