maybe use diffrent colours, and what is that space at the bottom for?

 

I'll admit its different, it looks like the 80's, if such a thing is possible

Anyway as above I dont understand the space at the bottom, your navigation at the left could use some work (a little jagged and flat, more noticible because your main content is rounded) and it doesn't line up at the bottom with the Main content, which makes slicing a bitch

But as I say, I like the concept, a little more work is all.
