This Tutorial is fairly simple, i've made it because i've seen everyone with pop out sigs not right. Your suppose to NOT have any white part behind the render 1: Make your background 2: Get your Render 3: Remember your Height of your Render and the Width of your background 4: Now make a new file with the height of your render and the width of your background. You can make it transparent or white 5: Now just put the Render and BG into that new file, If you made a transparent background then dont do anything, If you made a white background go to your background Layer and take the white out. by magic wand. 6. Now save it, DO NOT SAVE AS PNG, That is where you guys make the mistake, Save it as GIF so that it is transparent and it is actually popping out like so
I was thinking of doing a tut to make that result, and I do also do GIF, take less space when I load it to my web server (I don't user freebie hosts anymore ) My way is a world easier too, but it also is a bit more between intermediate and n00bie level
GIF files are small because of the lower quality. It also adds a jaggered edge around the transparent part of the graphic. DL Firefox, save as png, and see the difference.
gif quality sucks....if u want save it as png....put in ur forum save a screenshot and use eydropper tool get the background color.....and change it,done!
png's r hte best for renders and anything that ahs somethign transparent and yes get firefox nor its the best. (this is the only thing im downloading made by the users. linux sucks)
