Since I don't have ImageReady or anything available in front of me for a while... I'm hoping for an alternative solution than using Flash (not exactly familar with it enough...). I know .png is great with renders and transparencies... basically replaced .gif! But I dunno if it also holds up with animation, does it?
.mng is the png equivilent of gif... unfortunately is not supported mucha nymore. netscape and mozilla used to support it but removed that feature for some reason.
Yeah, you have a few options (maybe more..) : flash, gifs, java (this is harder to animate than flash, and well people dont really use it anymore for animations..), shockwave(macromedia director is the one to use), there's as well many other flash-alike program you could get for animating (mostly vector-animation-base..) so good luck .
