with the ammount of bumps there, it would be a spam fest for points. I doubt it will happen

then dont spam. Contribute to the forum by putting in good posts. You'll find your stay more fun if you care about it, rather than scrambling to get posts.

Dude just think of how stupid that would be. in the Auction room, when a good auction gets going people post like once every 20 seconds,
    10 do i hear 20?
    20
    Do i hear 30?
    40
and so on, ive seen that go on for like 15 posts before :|. people bump up their threads in offers and reqs and shops to much also, some people would have like 4,000 credits if credit posting was aloud in the marketplace :|

If you don't think that posting in another section of the forums is worth your time to earn credits then leave, plain and simple.

    Quoted for the truth. :)

The problem is that people WILL spam in the marketplace to boost their credits and posts, and they would enter auctions just for the sake of getting them. :P

Lets all hope that GR allows posting for credits in a certain forum for one member.

I don't get it, you are posting in the marketplace therefore making credits selling things, but you feel you need to ask them to allow posting for credits just because you don't feel like contributing to the community? Wow.

The credits have been disabled in the marketplace because it is easy to make quick short posts in those forums that do not contribute to any sort of discussion. This happens more often than in other forums.
