Ok, so I just finished building my new computer, and I hit the power button and it turned on for like 5 seconds and then everything turned off. All of the fans work, the heatsink works, the mobo light turns on, the psu fans and heatsink of lcd screen light up. I wore an esd bracelet, rubber bottom shoes and stuff. The mobo doesnt have an onboard video card so I cannot unplug the vid card. Thanks.

Well if you just build it, it can be a lot of things. Make sure the power supply is correctly connected to the mother board, that's the must common mistake people make ( i do it often too xD).

Start ripping stuff out piece by piece, and try turn it on after you've taken it out. You should hopefully get start up system beeps which will tell you if there's a fault.
