So I reset my modem and my router and tried to get on Internet Explorer and it gave me an error message saying IE had a problem and needs to close and I'm like wtf? So I restart my computer and it still does it except now I tried to uninstall some stuff and it said windows browser couldn't open either, like I tried to go to control panel and it gave me a message. It said for more info click here and I click and heres what the said for each one.

    ModVer: 5.1.2600.1362 Offset: 0001dc7b
the following files will be included in this error report:
    C:\DOCUME~1\DuSK\LOCALS\~/Temp\WER515.tmp.dir00\appcompat.txt

    Windows Explorer:
    AppName: explorer.exe AppVer: 6.0.2800.1221 ModName: ole32.dll
    ModVer: 5.1.2600.1362 Offset: 0001dc7b
the following files will be included in this error report:
    C:\DOCUME~1\DuSK\LOCALS\~/Temp\WER574.tmp.dir00\appcompat.txt

arrrgghhh. Thanks, but that didn't work. Someone told me that my ole32.dll file might be corrupted, and I should replace it, but when I do it says windows is already using it. Can anyone tell me how to make windows stop using it long enough for me to replace the file, then let windows start using it again?

Ok u could do a number of things:

    1) get gmail account ( i could invite u i got loads n loads of invite lol) and put all files u dnt want lost in a save draft then re build your computer with your re loads cd to re store default settings.

2)Reset computer and let the ChecDisc Run, it works on xp. If that dnt work kick it lol

Cant see what is wrong, if u cant get on the game then u might have to reload your computer...sry dude.

    About replacing that file...

Restart The Computer, Press F8 Before Windows Boots and make windows boot in Safe Mode.
You can now replace that file.

I don't think so man. I've tried that once before and it still said file is in-use and cannot be replaced because of it.

Oh yeah something weird happened earlier. I restarted and it don't do it now but still. Everything like stopped working. I tried to open anything and it said "no enough system resources" what does that mean and how can I fix it?

What type of computer do you have? Reason I ask is becuase I know HP computers allow you to factory restore them. Before, our account just logged out of the blue, it doesn't have a password on it or anything, and it wouldnt let you back to the desktop, everytime you clicked an account it would act like it would load and send you back to the username screen. So we had to do a facory restore, I suggest you look for a manual or watch the onscreen stuff while your computer is starting up, and do this, you may lose some files though, although I didn't lose anything. And actually, I don't think its hp, its windows xp that lets you do that, so if you have windows xp you might want to try that. You could also try system restore, but I don't know if you can get into that. but go to start>programs>accessories>system restore I would reccommend this before system recovery, but once again i dont know if you can get to it. This all assuming you have windows xp.

Well...my computer is custom. Had some guy build it for me. I'm running xp but I don't have any of the discs that came with xp because well...I think it may be an illegal copy I'm not sure. If anyone else is running xp I know there is a way to send a help invite and it will actually LET someone else into your computer. I would do that if someone would come in and fix my ---- for me.

Well I'm pretty sure you don't need a disc for either of those mentioned, you definitely shouldn't need one for system restore, all it does is restore your computer back to an original date, like if this stuff started happening 2 days ago, you could go back like 5 days and you should be fine. If anyone else knows about system restore and would like to help reinforce my statement, please do. I've used system restore probably about 5 times, because well one kazaa, and then others was tons of spyware and viruses, yes it doesn't get rid of them, but you lose some of them speeding up the comp so you can get rid of the rest.

Can it go back about two weeks or when this thread was started. It started then, then it was fine, then it messed up again.

Yeah, it should be able to, mine automatically creates restore points, so unless you disabled yours it should have already made some.
