Decision made! I will buy the Playstation 3 when it arrives in 2006 Spring. Thanks for the help, everyone. Lock it if you want, but I need to know which one I should buy. The two consoles are looking amazing. The Xbox is amazing, with all it´s features and everything. The Playstation 3 is also looking amazing, with the look and features. I have a problem deciding which one to get. They both rock, I know. The Xbox 360 has the "Live" feature which allows you to play against people all over the world, as I´ve heard. But do you need some kind of a wireless modem to connect it? It kinda sucks, that you have to pay for the Live feature after a month has pasted, but that´s how it is. The Playstation 3 doesn´t have the "Live" feature, as far as I know. But it has a wireless connection to the Playstation Portable, allowing you to connect the PSP to the PS3. I have the Playstation Portable. Along with 2 PSX´ and 2 PS2´. I have always been with Sony´s consoles, and I don´t know if it is the time to switch and try something new. First I didn´t want the Xbox 360, since I read and saw many complains about it, but then I went in the stores to check it out, and there it was. It was so amazing, but you couldn´t or can´t play on it yet. I still want both of them, but both will cost a fortunate. The PS3 is gonna be more expensive than the Xbox, I have heard. But that´s just on a site, that are watching the PS3. The control pad on the Xbox 360 is looking very confusing. There are so many buttons, and that is very clear, since you need them all to play games like Halo, Battlefield and such. The control pad on PS3 is looking so HOT. It is just so beutiful. And the shinyness of the PS3 is also amazing. The black one looks amazing. After I saw the old Xbox in the stores a few weeks ago, I got a little concerned. It was HUGE... Comparing to the new miny PS2. It was even bigger than the Nintendo. That is embaresing, I must admit. Microsoft haven´t beatened the Playstation consoles, YET, but maybe they will. But I don´t really think they will... According to many advertisements and announcements, the Xbox won´t be able to win over all the 80+ million PS2´s in everybodys home around the world. The old Xbox are only 20 millions or something. There the PS2 has won, but what about the PS3 compared to the Xbox 360? That will be exiting... Now I still wonder, what I should get. I need some help with this, from gamers and such. Which means all of you... Which game console should I get? I have always sticked with Sony, so the chances for PS3 is a bit high above the Xbox 360, but I need some oppinions and such on it. So please help me out, guys. This is a hard choice for me... EDIT: Please don´t spam this topic, making post´s like: "XBOX RULES!", "PLAYSTATION RULES!". That won´t be good for the thread. And please don´t post anything here, unless you have read the whole first post, first. But if you know where I am going with this, and wanna help without reading it, you are mostly welcome.
Either way you are going to wait. I would wait to see what the PS3 is gonna bring to the table then make a decision. ~jb
Might as well wait until you seen what both can do, I always ended up getting a console I thought I'd like more, but then I ended up regreting it and getting the other.
Xbox 360 is more for Action/Arcade games. PS3 is mainly Adventure/RPG, etc. Its up to you which you choose, as far as an opinion, I would have to say definatly wait for PS3. (2007)
just wait for the ps3...halo 3 will also come out on the same day...if halo 3 is good get the 360...if you don't like it get the ps3...simple
It got delayed yesterday/today... I'd get the 360, but mainly because I'm an Xbox fanboy. Plus, the PS3's not coming out until 2007, and is expected to be much, much more expensive...
Sony's already made an announcement that the 2007 rumor wasn't true..... As for which to choose, PS3 (imo) is the way to go. Sony's execs are working on an online service that will be similar to live, but more integrated, and from heresay- cheaper, maybe even free. It's overall a more powerful machine, at launch it'll come with many key launch games (mgs4, new DMC, warhawk, new killzone, etc). It'll come out with the punches rolling- once PS3 is grounded, it'll be an interesting battle between it and the 360. Ps3 all the way.
