Well, theres this one girl I know, and basically I moved around 8 months ago, and shes one of the few people I hang out with outside of school. I hang out with her basically every weekend cuz she goes to a different school. I asked my parents if I could go with her, a friend and her mom to see this play at her school. She said no, and gave no reason. I finally asked after using logic to say she was hiding something: She said that I can't see her every weekend because thats dating even if its a totally platonic (boy & girl who are good friends but not a couple) relationship you'll never stay that way, because we know you like girls, etc. Its total bull. I mean sure, I like this girl a little, but we are only friends and thats how I want it. I even said that and my dad said I was lying. I'm currently dating someone else, i've been keeping it a secret cuz my parents say before i'm 16 no dating whatsoever. I'm nearly 16 and they're acting like fools. I need some advice/guidance/flames.
i would have to say just go with what your parents say there not out to get you there just looking out for you.....if something was to happen to u it would all come back on your parents ... no need to rush in to the dating thing...16 will come soon, your parents will let you date and chances are the girl your with now you wont end up with in the long run ...most men have lots of different girl friends along the long road of life................ dont rush to grow up enjoy it well you can
Well, ya I know, dating will get here. But they think that dating is seeing a girl more than 4 times a month outside of school. Because thats the average of how many times I see her period. She doesn't go to my school, so thats the only time I get to see her. And we're only friends, which makes me mad with my parents.
i dont know what to tell ya dating is messed up in highschool it is a waste of time imo... wait till you graduate
I agree, plus, about 99.9% of high school relationships don't last past 12th grade. I mean, you're going to have to go to colleges, and who knows how far apart you'll be? Just live high school the way it is, take the good and the bad, if it's good in the end, yay, if it's bad...there's always college, lol.
after the first year you'll wish you could stay in college for another 10 years...oh god i love college
