Ok well ive decided to get a new pc! My dad recently bought this one and i like it too so i was thinking of maybe getting it. Only problem is i want more of a gaming pc but if i upgrade the gfx card on this one i think itd be really good 2 play most of the new games out! Here are the exact Product Specifications of the pc im thinking of getting Product Specifications PC Thinkin of Buying check the specs and please tell me if theyre decent and if its possible to update the card to say something in the GeForce 7000 Series OR If anyone can find me a better one with vista pre-loaded and has the multemedia center remote! Price range is 1300-1400 Canadian If making a custom build please reccomend the best parts! I also need a LCD monitor and the one from futureshop is bundled with a 20inch one! Remember canadian sites only..plz and thx
those specs are pretty good but with the price their are some concerns. The PSU is probably weak and wont be good for gaming the RAM is prob a low speed like DDR2 533 or DDR2 667 The tv tuner might be integrated into the GPU and a new 7600 wont have one the monitor is extra and will prob run an extra 300 also there is no Sound car or speakers so gaming wont be too realistic without 5.1 at least and integrated sound takes away from the FPS
Overpriced I say and never get a OEM system, they'll lock you out anything they dont like, eg overclocking. You'll build yourself a much better pc for the same money.
ok so can anyone give me a good build..or because im not too good with the computer parts..what about recommending any good pre builts..remember it needs to be for gaming and multemedia..so with the multimedia center and has the remote
um just use canadian sites! id prefer a pre-built or a site i can choose the parts and they build it for me since im not all too tech savy.. candian site www.futureshop.ca www.bestbuy.ca www.canadacomputers.ca www.tigerdirect.ca Merged Post: I added the product specification link of the PC i was thinking of buyin! please check those and tell me if theyre good!
go with a c2d. also, Int sound isn't as horrible as you might think, atleast when you have a higher end motherboard

arite thanks! but ye as i said a good prebuilt one which can be partially upgraded would be good 2..cause i know with building ur own theres den the issue with warranties..cause u hav 2 send each part to whichever company manufactured it..
Thats true, but mostly, you just send it back to the shop, and they'll handle it. Depends on which brand. I edited my post with a build, dont buy it yet as Im sure you can save on some things (waiting for other to check).
well it looks like a good build but might be out of my price range..its already over $1600 and we havnt even added the cost of shipping unless it free and tax yet
