I really don't see the point in doing this. Seems like a complete waste of time to me. I'm sure it will turn out good, but it's still a waste of time. Pen tool or Poly Tool is good enough, even for pop-outs.

yeah but this render will be perfect for a pop-out sigs :) even a vector sig needs a really good render so it is worth it if hes commited.

IMHO, If it's a larger image, unless someone is using it in a wallpaper, it's going to be for waste when it's resized anyways.... That's one of the bad things...

I do lots of pixel perfect images, but thats only when they are already the size I want them to be, usually meaning tha tthey are already small.

But hey, it's your time and you can spend it however you want.

On all of my renders, I will use poly lasso for any really sharp edges and corners that HAVE TO BE squared or pointed, and the rest of it I use either a 1px, 2px, 3px, 5px, 7px, 10px, or 20px eraser [brush style] tool on all other surfaces. I refuse to use the poly tool on any long and straight or mostly straight parts of an image, it always looks better when done with the eraser. And after lots of practice withthe earaser tool, you will find that it's FASTER to do straight sections with the eraser then it is to use the poly tool.

But GL on the PIXEL PERFECTS man... I would suggest you only do it in the future for smaller images that don't need resizing, but more power to yah for all your hard work.
