Php Nuke? Or Mysql? Users?

    are there any php nuke users out here? or some1 who has preety good knowledge about mysql...? i need help

    ok well i was making a site for someone on my hosting hen i copied all the files over to his hosting i saved my sql file and while i was uploading it over to his hosting i got errors and i really need this fixed tonight

    Can you be a little more specific? WHat errors are you getting?

    i get these kinds of errors MySQL said: #1064 - You have an error in your SQL syntax. Check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 'DEFAULT CHARSET=latin1' at line 13

    Try removing that line, it should default to it anyways. If not i don't think you need default so "CHARSET=latin1" should work fine. One of those should work.

    you using something like phpmyadmin to upload this stuff to your MySQL db?

    I also tried to install PHPNuke, but I didn't get it really to work. I downloaded an install file somewhere, which fixed it, can't renember where. Make sure you read the readme right.

    also, what version is your phpnuke?

    btw, i suggest finding another content management system out there, not as popular as phpnuke. it has many flaws and there are plenty of phpbb(or nuke) tutorials on hacking out on the internet. just my opinion
