Photoshop Too Dark

    I havent used photoshop for about 5 months but now when I open images with photoshop they show up very dark. When I save the image it will show up normal again but for some reason when i load them in photoshop they look dark.

    It is very hard to make sigs now because they always show up differently after i save them and post them or open them up with a different program.

    I have already tried uninstalling and reinstalling and it didnt work.

    I've been having that problem too. I can't seem to figure it out. It's been an on and off thing on mine though.

    are you sure its set to RGB colour?
    image>mode>RGB Colour

    i kinda have that problem too except in ps its lighter than when i save it

    Check the settings when you click New. It will be one of those things you can click in the create new project.

    I finally figured out how to fix it.

    Go to Edit > Color Settings > and under work spaces change the RGB setting. I recently got a new monitor so i had to switch mine to samsung icm profile.

    I only just fixed mine go View > Proof Setup and Click Monitor RPG... solved my problems :P

    A month ago mine kinda did the same except insteadof being to dark the gray was orange but I reinstalled it and the it worked fine.
