Photoshop Problem

every time i try to write text it comes up sayin " could not complete your request because a default system font could not be obtained" has any1 else had this happen to them and what suggestions do ppl have

ive tried uninstalling it then reinstalling it doesnt work

 

the sooner the better comon i reallly need your help

 

plz help me a canni put any text on my sigs

 

Does this happen no matter what font you choose? Or only certain fonts?

Hmmm, not sure what is going on with that. At first it sounded like you may not have the particular font, did by chnace go through and remove some fonts recently? If not I am not sure what the issue is.

 

i did move my fonts to a different folder today but dont know where to put it back

i still have the fonts just need to know where 2 put them again

 

there is only one directory that you can put fonts in. that is windows/fonts. no where else will work. If you have many fonts, i suggest u get a font management program like extensis suitcase. that way you can activate fonts from any directory when you choose to, rather than installing them all, as you can only put so many fonts in your windows/fonts directory. if for some reson you have deleted your system fonts or cant find them, i suggest you read this article. hope it helps. http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?...kb;en-us;234749

 

put them back into C:\WINDOWS\Fonts . If you need the default fonts again, get them from here.
