    where is the brushes tab in the top right? does anyone know how to get it back?

    Go to Window and then you might see some tool like say brush ... Try there >..<

    The brush is on the menu on the left side, wrong forum anyway.

    You are selected with the smudge tool. Try selecting the brush tool.

    That's got nothing to do with it, mine's always there, regardless of what tool I have at the moment.

    Go to Window > Brushes, or hit F5.
