idk what discusion i should put this onto...

Ok so should I buy photoshop? It's kinda expensive like $200 or something.... Should I stay with gimp and paint.net or should I buy it?

I'm starting to get good at photoshop or learning it (cs4) because I'm taking a class on it.... So whats your opinion on getting photoshop?

If you were smart you would look for cheaper ways to find it. But I highly recommend it.

Unless you're a professional graphic designer, forget buying it. it's overpriced as consumer level software. unless you're using it for professional reasons, dont buy it.

You could get it but, it takes a lot of space and it requires time to learn using it.

Photoshops beats all in the eyes of Tools and UI. Once you learn it, pretty much anything you think of can be achieved with the software. (within a design sense ;) )

Dunno if anyone mentioned, but if you're taking a class on it, you can get a student version for cheap which is really the full version.

But if you're mainly going to use it for sig making and shit like that, then you could get a cheap copy of Photoshop 7 or the first few CS versions.

if you're a student and have a student email account you can get it for much cheaper.
