The first one is acceptable, it's nothing special, but it's not horrible. You didn't butcher it completely like most people do and then they call it a manip, which it isn't. When you covered the reflection of the sun in the lower left hand corner, you should have moved, or replaced it to the centre, below where the lens flair was placed. Also, if a sun is in full shine, the rest of everything else wouldn't be dark blue. When making a manip take realism into account. I don't care for the second one, zombies and scars are overdone and easy.
